The 2024 Journeyman End Mill Sharpener is a good blend of old and new. The state-of-the-art silent DC drive on the old reliable CUTTERMASTER frame is compatible with all legacy CUTTERMASTER accessories. Easy to set up with the best air spindle on the market. The Journeyman is our most capable grinder on the stock Cuttermaster motor configuration.
The JX features an 82mm 130V DC 500 watt 500 to 4500 RPM, on a rotate and tilt base with a Tower mounted Toycen DC whisper Drive control,
This is the bare machine and comes complete with collets and an aluminum oxide grinding wheel – everything you need to get started grinding ends and flutes. We recommend one or two of our resin bond CBN (for high-speed steel tools) and diamond (for carbide) cup wheels to upgrade your sharpening system. Choose our Production Support Package which is a great deal on resin bond cup wheels, wheel truing device, countersink and step drill cams and a plated face wheel.
The Patented Multi-Axis, Torque Compensating DC Motor Head with whisper drive helps to eliminate tool burning (and you can hear what you’re doing).
