ER Collet Chucks how to load the collet

How to insert a collet in an ER collet chuck.

Be sure all collet surfaces are shiny clean, or the collet may want to rotate when the chuck
is tightened (this will affect tool timing in the chuck)

The thinner the collet wall the easier they snap-in as a rule.

The collet must be snapped into the seat for it to work correctly.

The collets may vary in size this will make a difference in how they snap in .

When the collet is in place it should be loose once its under the extraction lip.
