After looking at the Tradesman grinders for years, I finally decided to purchase one. I made the call to Jeff Toycen who patiently answered all my questions. He put together a package for me and it was delivered the same week. I ended up with an Edge 810, 2×48 belt, and 8” CBN on the wheel side. My primary purpose for this grinder was for sharpening chisels/irons/knives. I have been fortunate enough to have owned numerous tools over the last 20 years, including Baldor high and slow speed grinders, as well as 2 Tormek machines. I knew exactly what I wanted and had high hopes that this machine would deliver it all in a single package. After receiving the Edge 810, I can confidently say it is the most versatile, functional, and accurate grinder I have ever been around. I can hollow grind edge tools extremely fast and accurately with the CBN wheel, swap to a knife with a Tormek jig on the belt side with no change, and all with variable speed and reverse. The options are endless, thank you Jeff, I am so pleased with this purchase!
