Hey Jeff I got your awesome machine set up and on the roller stand I built for it. The 10” wheel fit the shaft line-to –line (light press) runout less than .0005.wow thanks The 8” wheel 6oo grit had some axial wobble but I found the problem was with the “precision washer between the wheel and the retaining ring. The opposite faces were out of parallel a full one thousandth of an inch. When I fixed it on the lathe and tuned the rotation phase angle to the best case the runout went to virtually zip. The tool rests are just beautiful in both design and execution. The speed control is so satisfying. I’ll send pictures later. Thanks for doing what you do!!
